  • Great show, as always. Loved the characters and the storytelling. I am still waiting on season 3 to come out on Blu-ray, along with Plot Against America, which was so timely. Actually I wished Homicide and The Corner would get issued on BD as well.

  • Leaving this here because I too long winded for Twitter. I am guessing you probably already have season 3 mostly written, but I hope we see crack introduced on the streets and how that starts to shape the underworld economy. It would almost be like a prequel to the Wire in terms of seeing how policing starts to change and the birth of the first inner city crack dealers. Anyway, loved season 2. Great show!

  • A superb cast, as always. Times Sq. was a bizzare place and time in US history that deserves to be immortalized. The dawn of mainstream porn. It’s a hell of a story. The years in season 2 are when I made my first trip to NYC. The only thing that I can think that you are missing are the live sex shows. There is a great Chicago story that needs telling, but you will likely be busy for the next 5-8 years as this one is a winner.

  • As a news film editor in the 70s the film editing by Maggie is very realistic. Series great except so much smoking I survived my 20s living through 70s and never smoked, nor did my friends or most of the young ladies we dated.

  • You have no equals in terms of explaining so much of what has been happening in America to me. And not just to me. This country is getting more confusing by the minute but you and all of your work is a flashlight. I don’t want to peer too deeply into the shadows of this society. I probably will though because you can tell stories that make sense. I 100% echo what masjid from Iran said. If anything thank you for helping the world understand America.

  • I can’t wait to see the new episodes! Call me a nerd who is way too interested in behind the scenes stuff but who are the three people above & below Dominique Fishback?

Also, Jamie Neumann was great but I wish Ashley had stayed out of the life.

  • The Deuce blew my mind And after that, I finaly decided to watch The Wire. And Sir, That show was LIFE itself! Consider that I’m from Iran. But all your work is beyond borders. Thank you and all of the cast and crew for these life-changing experiences.

    • Great job with The Deuce! Mr. Simon and your team. Was looking forward to season 2! Just like all your previous projects; realistic characters, storylines and amazing portrayal of the era/environment. Big Fan since The Corner/The Wire. Hope the Avenue project gets financing!
